Our practice covers the entire spectrum of issues confronted by insurance companies, including coverage and defense. We have been involved in most of the significant cases in the Pacific Northwest. We are committed to insurers’ need for cost-effective handling, prompt evaluation of claims, and regular reports that are clear and concise. We emphasize early resolution of lawsuits but have the experience and resources needed to try difficult cases, and the good judgment to advise our clients when a case needs to be settled early.

We are recognized in the Northwest for our leadership in the professional liability field. We have worked with every major professional liability carrier insuring attorneys for malpractice, beginning with the original Bar-approved carrier in the 1970s. We also have extensive experience in handling malpractice claims on behalf of architects and engineers, medical doctors, accountants and insurance professionals. We have handled hundreds of lawsuits involving lawyers sued by dissatisfied clients. Lawyers can be particularly insistent that competent, experienced attorneys be assigned to defend their interests.
